Raspberry Flummery Shakes

If you haven’t tried jelly like this, then you’re not doing it right! Flummery Shakes, made with Aeroplane Jelly.


2 x 85g Aeroplane Raspberry Flavoured Jelly

500ml hot water

200ml cold water

340ml evaporated milk

1 cup lightly whipped cream

1 punnet raspberries, crushed

To Serve

4 glasses

150ml whipped cream

4 strawberries, fanned

4 mint leaves


STEP 1: To a mixing bowl, add 1 packet of Aeroplane Raspberry Flavoured Jelly, then add in 250ml hot water and stir well until the jelly crystals dissolve. Add 200ml of cold water, stir once more, then pour the jelly into a medium rectangle food storage container lined with cling film and set in the fridge for 4 hours.

STEP 2: Meanwhile, use a large mixing bowl to add the other packet of Aeroplane Raspberry Flavoured Jelly, along with 250ml of hot water. Stir well until the jelly crystals dissolve. Allow the bowl to cool to room temperature.

STEP 3:  Using an electric beater, start to whip the jelly, and in a thin stream, pour in the evaporated milk until the mixture combines. Add whipped cream and combine once more for about 2 minutes. Set the mixture aside.

STEP 4: Remove the set jelly from the fridge, and using a sharp knife, cut into small cubes.

STEP 5: Between 4 serving glasses, add the cubes of Aeroplane Raspberry Flavoured Jelly and crushed raspberries. Divide the Raspberry Flummery Shake mixture between each glass.

STEP 6: To serve, add a large dollop of whipped cream on top, then garnish the glass with a fanned strawberry and mint leaf.
