Banksy Created The Union Jack Stab-Proof Vest Stormzy Wore During His Glastonbury Performance
"I made a customised stab-proof vest and thought — who could possibly wear this?"
So we've already recapped Stormzy's headlining performance at Glastonbury in a fair amount of detail.

But it has just come to our attention that the provocative stab-proof vest he wore during the set was actually designed by Banksy. Provocative. Banksy. That makes sense.
This was all confirmed on a verified Instagram account for the artist, who famously keeps his real identity a secret: "I made a customised stab-proof vest and thought — who could possibly wear this? Stormzy at Glastonbury."
Stormzy rocked the vest for the opening section of his show, in which he performed five songs while projecting on the screen behind him statements and sobering statistics about knife crime in London.
Well, now, there's just one question on everybody's mind.
Banksy created Stormzy’s Glastonbury Union Jack stab vest... so does the rapper know who Banksy really is? https://t.co/2TsO5UWkS2
So hold up........ The police can't catch Banksy, but a grime artist can contact him in order to request he makes him a customised stab vest 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 #stormzy #glastonburyfestival2019 #glastonbury
The notoriously elusive artist first appeared on the scene in 1990, and to this day, his identity remains a mystery, while his work has earned him international acclaim for its satirical and sharp social commentary.

People also love his sense of humour, including this very Banksy moment when the artist installed a shredder in the frame of his artwork that was purchased last year for $1.3 million, only to self-destruct and troll art buyers.
Two British icons coming together for a historic moment. Love to see it.
Like Banksy and @stormzy the collaboration you never expected will do down in history
