Tumblr users recently began to notice a striking similarity between a scene in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and the recent events surrounding the death of Mike Brown in Ferguson, Mo.
In the scene, Uncle Phil is seen telling Will's friend Jazz to "put [his] hands down" during an appearance in court, to which Jazz responds with hesitation because of a nearby officer.

Brown was shot at least six times by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, according to a preliminary autopsy report.
