That could just be the awakening of millions of Star Wars fans burning out the internet watching this trailer, but the voice is probably talking about some kind of rebirth within the Force. Which, in this context, does not sound good.
Or, at least, someone dressed as a Stormtrooper.
Who is this guy? Could it be Adam Driver's character? Or Andy Serkis'? Or Domhnall Gleeson's? Or Gwendoline Christie's? Or… could it be… Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker?! (OK, no, it almost certainly isn't Luke.)
Also, is this the same character as the one talking about "awakenings" and the dark side of the Force? (Collider's Steven Weintraub is saying the voice is Andy Serkis, fwiw.)
Whoever this cloaked figure is, they better not let that new lightsaber get too close to their face.
Droids are cute, you guys. It's unavoidable.
So vestiges of the Empire are still alive and well, it seems. Or perhaps the Empire never went away?
The movie doesn't premiere for over a year, however, so there's time. Patience. We need to learn patience.
