This artsy and charming city is just an hour drive away from Washington D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland. When you're not visiting one of the galleries or small shops of downtown, there are plenty of local restaurants and pubs to visit at the end of a long day exploring.

Frederick, Maryland

With plenty of art exhibits and shops to spare, Grand Rapids has a large city feel while maintaining its small city charm. Originally known for its furniture production, this city is a landmark in the ways of craft beer and microbreweries.

Grand Rapids, Michigan

Located on the island of Kauai, this Hawaiin city is the perfect place to settle in for some much needed rest and relaxation. With a population of just over 6,000, this part of the island is perfect for taking some time to yourself. Surrounded by beautiful beaches and breathtaking sites, you will truly feel like you're in paradise.

As you might of guessed by the name, Portsmouth is a charming little port city in eastern New Hampshire. Aside from the historic aspects of the town, this walk-able city also plays host to plenty of boutiques, restaurants, and museums. Whether relaxing in Prescott Park or heading over to the Music Hall, Portsmouth is the perfect place for you to kick back and relax!
