Howard Stern Will Be A Judge On "America's Got Talent"

NBC announced Thursday morning that the King of All Media, Howard Stern, has signed on to be a new judge on "America's Got Talent" for its seventh season. Production of the live-recorded reality series will be moved to New York City, so he can continue hosting his iconic show at Sirius/XM Radio. UPDATE: Video of Howard's agent, Don Buchwald, visiting this morning's "Stern Show" to make the announcement.

"Howard Stern’s larger-than-life personality will bring a thrilling new dynamic to 'America’s Got Talent' starting this summer,” stated Paul Telegdy, President, Alternative and Late Night Programming, NBC, in a press release. “He’s a proven innovator and his track record in broadcasting is truly remarkable."

Stern is taking Piers Morgan's seat on the judge's panel, who left the show in November.
