    1. A Fitbit that tracks their heart rate and sleep patterns to help them maximize your workouts. They can also receive calls, texts, and calendar notifications on it.

Promising review: "It's been about six months, and I still love it. I go to the gym and track my workouts. It's nice to be able to see your heart rate zones while working out. I also use this to track my runs. It's probably not as accurate for running as the distance is a little varied sometimes even though I run the same route, but it's still helpful tracking the time, heart rate, and pace. It can also track your golf rounds, which is awesome. Fitbit updates the software every now and then so you always get improvements and the most up to date functionality. I would recommend this product." —Sam Johnson

Get it from Amazon for $136.95 (available in two sizes and seven colors).

    2. A WOW-worthy pair of sneakers they'll open and then immediately post to Instagram to show off the ah-mazing gift they got. You'll win best gift giver for sure with these.

    3. A jump robe they can use to ~switch~ up their cardio routine because running every day can get a little, dare I say, boring., Amazon

Promising review: "Very good-quality materials are used, starting from the steel rope, which is encased in some sort of heavy-duty, slightly clear plastic to the smooth bearings. The finish of the rope is very slick and seems like it'll hold up a long time. If you grab the handle and spin it, the bearing will go 10 revolutions easily, speaking to the quality of the bearings. I've only had it a couple of weeks and it is holding up great. For $10, probably one of the best ropes you can get. And from what I read about the owners of the company and their warranty, seems like these folks will be more than happy to get a new rope over to you ASAP if your current one breaks for whatever reason." —Roman

Get it from Amazon for $10.

    4. A packable mat that folds up so small they can stash it in a bag as they continue about their day with no problem—or they can pack it in a carry-on and take their fitness practice with them when they travel.

It also comes with a manual to help them use it.

Promising review: "This is an amazing product! I’m fairly flexible and have trouble getting a deep stretch, and this strap has really helped me out. The loops really help to be able to manipulate it to fit your needs and the type of stretch you’re working on. And the manual is helpful as well. I highly recommended it." —Holly Schenk

    9. A Bosu Balance Trainer designed to help with their cardiovascular toning and flexibility because those are equally important parts of a good workout., Amazon

Promising review: "Omg...I love this. I just did 5k race with my son and his friends, it's called The Inflatable5k, meaning you run 3 miles while having inflatable obstacles to run, jump, or climb upon. I did it, but I have to say it was harder then I thought to balance on a balloon! I bought this wanting to improve, but I was not expecting all this FUN. I really love it! It's so easy on my joints — in fact when I use this in place of my step for aerobics DVDs, my knee pain is gone...for real! Unexpected bonus!!" —Kat

    11. A balance ball chair to turn their workday into a work-out day. This will make them use their core to sit up straight and balance.

Promising review: "Sitting is killing us. Every week that headline is somewhere. This chair is so much more than a punchline on Portlandia. I have used it for over a year in my office job and I am an active 39-year-old male. Funny looks? Sure. But it's not for them, it's about my health and lower lumbar strength. For the first few weeks I had a 'regular' chair close by, to ease the transition. Now I wish that I could take my chair with me to client locations.

We slump so easily. I used to 'sit' with my chair rolled all the way under the desk leaned back so that my butt and shoulders were the only thing supported. This balance chair forces you to sit up straight and support yourself. It forces you to pop up out of your seat. It will force you to strengthen your legs, back and shoulders. You will find yourself sitting more upright even when you are not using the chair. This chair is not for comfort. It is for you to get better." —Micah

Get it from Amazon for $67.40 (available in nine colors).

    12. A Dagne Dover duffle bag known to not only be a great travel carry-on bag, but also a perfect gym bag as it has pockets for both shoes, water bottles, and anything else they'll need while they're there.

Get it from Dagne Dover for $95+ (available in five sizes and 11 colors).

    13. A space-saving treadmill they can fold up so they have room for guests to come over and visit without having to make them sit on the machine.

Just make sure they don't forget about it when they fold it up —out of sight, out of mind is a real thing!

Promising review: "It’s a great treadmill! The price is amazing, and it works just as well as any other treadmills I have used at the gym. The only negative thing is that it has a manual incline, but you get used to it. :)" —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $325.98.

    14. A funnel neck pullover they'll be able to throw over their workout clothes when going to and from the gym or just wear on an average Saturday when they want to look cute and yet be comfy.

Promising review: "I love that this funnel neck pullover is chic enough to wear to and from my workout or with jeans and sneakers for a cute athleisure look. It's incredibly soft and the back is a little longer than the front, which gives it an elevated look." —LauraM10

They are very comfy and soft to the touch. And I LOVE the packaging. They come with a free bag to carry them in. I am definitely going to buy more colors." —Jackie

Get them from Amazon for $49 (available in seven colors).

    17. A trainer stand that'll turn their "normal" bike into a stationary bike they can use inside (all without having to shell out thousands of dollars for a high-tech one).

Promising review: "I recently got a new road bike for the occasional weekend ride. As fun as that is, I wanted a way to use the bike indoors to maintain some level of cardio fitness for when work/weather/etc. gets in the way. This trainer meets those needs and is very affordable. Setup was a snap (there is a YouTube video instructional that I followed for setup, way better than the included instructions). The levels of resistance offer a wide range, so its great for long-distance or high intensity. It's a very cheap and practical way to get some indoor cardio as well as extend the usage of an existing bicycle. While I would probably consider a nicer fluid trainer if I was a 'professional biker,' most people aren't that, and just want a way to get a good workout without spending a fortune. For those people, this trainer is perfect." —Adam Goldstein

Get it from Amazon for $91.99 (available in black and red).

    18. A splurge-worthy Theragun for a deep-muscle treatment that is said to increase blood flow to support the body's recovery process (hopefully resulting in their taking less medicine for sore muscles).

BuzzFeed editor Heather Braga says, "I have one of these bad boys and it has honestly been a game-changer. When I posted on my Instagram that I had received one, the responses I got were WILD. People are PASSIONATE about this gadget and now I understand why. I've used it on the arches of my feet and have way less pain than ever before. The nozzle at the end contracts at a high speed (think, a tiny punching machine) that surprisingly doesn't hurt but leaves your body buzzing in a good way.

Don't be intimidated by its appearance. It's simple to use and extremely effective. It feels similar to managing a hand mixer — weird, but true. In my opinion, it's worth the money and it actually does work."

Get it from Theragun for $249.

    19. An ab carver that comes with foam pads to protect their knees as they roll their way to a six-pack.

Promising review: "This is an amazing product. I bring it to the gym about twice a week, and I sweat every time I use it. This trains your abs, but it is also good for your arms and back. The assembly is simple, and the product is sturdy. This makes an EXCELLENT addition to any fitness regime." —None

Get it from Amazon for $26.07.

    20. A high-quality yoga mat with the perfect amount of cushion to keep them comfortable, but not so comfortable that they want to fall asleep during their practice.

Promising review: "I love, love, love this mat! We've had quite a few cheap mats, and they don't even compare to this one. It's dense but so comfortable. It's well worth the money. I have a Yogitoes big towel to put over it for hot yoga but really don't need it. I love the mat with or without the towel. I'm spoiled now and will never go back to the cheap mats again." —Kim P.

Get it from Amazon for $40+ (available in 10 colors).

    21. A slim running belt they can use to stash their keys in so they're never locked out of the house again.

Promising review: "Love this belt! It is super comfortable and sturdy. I bought the belt to hold my iPhone 8 Plus and keys while I run. The iPhone 8 Plus is a tight squeeze but fits even in its OtterBox case. I love the hook to snap my keys on so they stay in place and I don’t have to worry about them falling out. I did not even find the need to flip the belt as my phone and keys felt secure and I wanted easier access to my phone. It fits snugly on my hip and the belt did not bounce around on my run even with my heavy phone inside. All in all super happy with this purchase. Worth every penny!" —Elise V. Ryding

Promising review: "These things have a battery like a stallion. I charge them maybe once every 1.5 weeks, and I work out seven days a week with music. They're gym-friendly and just awesome. It helped me regain my range of motion, and the different tension levels were great to help advance and make me stronger. Since then, I've been using this product instead of going to the gym and paying a pricey membership fee. They are large enough for my feet and hands, but not too large to throw in a suitcase when I travel. I like that they are lightweight but sturdy. I've only had them a limited amount of time, but so far, so good!" —al

Get it from Amazon for $9.95+ (available in five colors).

    36. A sport smartwatch designed to look like a regular watch, but it actually has way more functions—counting steps, heart rate, blood-oxygen levels, and a sports mode to help you keep track of your fitness.

I've been wearing this watch for a couple of weeks now. The first thing that drew to me to it was the shape of it. I like how it looks like a regular oversized watch, especially when the screen is dark. But then, when you shift the face towards you, it turns on and clearly tells you the time, the number of steps you've taken, weather, and your heart rate. You can also connect it via Bluetooth to your phone to get notifications right on your wrist. It's really nice to have all the information so close and to be able to track my workouts instead of just hoping for the best. Plus, I think it totally looks way more expensive than it actually is.
