The Slow Mo Guys went to Taser HQ in Scottsdale, Arizona, to fire some tasers in, you guessed it, slow motion.
Tasers shoot out pretty quick, so in order to capture the deployment in slow motion, they had to take a closeup shot at 28,500 frames per second! For reference, most film is shot at 24 frames per second.
And here it is again in FULL FRONTAL.
You may be wondering about that festive confetti shooting out along with everything. Each tiny piece of confetti has the serial number of the taser on it to track which taser was deployed and who fired it.
Now for the real meat of it all. This poor guy agreed to be tased on film FOR SCIENCE.
And from the back:
From the point of impact, his muscles contract from right to left.
