White Zombie (1932)

Starring: Bela Lugosi, Madge Bellamy, and Joseph Cawthorn

'Murder' Legendre and Charles Beaumont devise a plan to kill Madeline Short and turn her into a zombie. Now they can be together.....FOREVER! Or can they?

Evil Dead (1983)

Starring: Bruce Campbell. Ellen Sandweiss, and Richard DeManincor

You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll cry so hard you'll laugh.

When Ash and his girlfriend, along with three friends, decide to hike to a cabin in the woods (horror movie red flag #1) they find a creepy a** book (red flag #2). Turns out this super friendly and not terrifying at all book releases a veritable sh*t ton of evil that the group must now fight off or become one of the....evil dead.

House of Wax (1953)

Starring: Vincent Price, Frank Lovejoy, and Phyllis Kirk

Creepy wax museum? Check.

Creepier "wax sculptor"? Check.

After a "fiery" confrontation with his business partner, wax sculptor Henry decides to open his own museum of "wax figures" several years later.

Why the quotations? You'll see.

The Shining (1980)

Picasa 3.0

Starring: Jack Nicholson, Shelley Duvall, and Danny Lloyd

Jack Torrance along with his wife and young son move into probably the creepiest hotel in Colorado when Jack takes a job as winter caretaker while the hotel is closed for the season. Nothing could possibly go wrong here.

Night of the Lepus (1972)

Starring: Rory Calhoun, DeForest Kelley, Stuart Whitman, and Janet Leigh

I won't even tell you what this one is about. It involves injecting an animal with a chemical that turns it into a giant blood-thirsty monster.

You'll see.
