• Much more likely a Bell’s Palsy. A temporary paralysis of one side of his face. Notice that his forehead doesn’t seem to wrinkle in a normal way on the left side. This nails the diagnosis. If this were a stroke he would have some movement of his forehead on the left. This is very likely temporary and is not a stroke, but he will have a temporary paralysis of his face. Look for his left eye to tear and look red if not patched (no normal blinking). His speech may sound off because the left side of his mouth won’t work properly. He may drool from the left side of his mouth and be unaware of it. Long and short, he will not look good tonight. I smell a 1960 repeat.
