Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman is emerging as the strongest critic of Rep. Ron Paul in the Republican field, with a hard-hitting new video that collects some of the libertarian candidate's incendiary remarks through the years.

Paul is what stands between Huntsman and second place in the New Hampshire primary, and Huntsman is willing to do what it takes to position himself as the only alternative to Mitt Romney in the Granite State.

  • I was hoping to see a nice solid rebuttal of the absurd parts of Ron Paul's ideology, but this ad really didn't deliver. Huntsman, you're clearly not going to win, so why resort to fallacious attacks against your opponents? If you're going to make a principled stand in the name of sanity in the GOP, attack Paul for saying things that are actually ridiculous, not just for saying things that aren't widely accepted.
