Santorum Says "Bully" Romney Is Whining About Robocalls

Romney campaign says he is forming another pro-Obama Super PAC.

PERRYSBURG, Ohio—Rick Santorum says Mitt Romney is a "bully" for complaining about his campaign's robocalls encouraging Democrats to come out to vote for him.

"That's what bullies do," he told reporters when asked about Romney's criticism of the calls. "When you hit them back, they whine."

Santorum said he was out to appeal to "Reagan Democrats" in the calls, though Romney spokesman Ryan Williams, who was at the event to provide live spin, called it a "complete farce."

"President Reagan reached out to moderate Democrats by promoting pro-growth policies, he's talking about tax cuts, about creating jobs. Senator Santorum is trying to lure Democrats into our primary by promoting liberal policies."

"His campaign is morphing into another Obama Super PAC that is designed to attack Governor Romney for opposing the auto-bailout, and it's really disgraceful," Williams added.

Earlier Tuesday, Romney accused Santorum of trying to "kidnap" the Republican primary process by encouraging Democrats to vote in the Michigan primary.
