Colbert's Super PAC Attacks GOP Candidates' Negative Ads In Its Own Attack Ad

    Double negative. Get it?

"The Definitely Not Coordinating With Stephen Colbert Super PAC" is out with its third ad this week in South Carolina, according to a release — this time attacking the GOP candidates' negative attacks on each other.

“Donate today, and we'll destroy both these guys and their Super PACs with a merciless ad torrent so fierce they’ll wish they’d never been incorporated," teh narrator says. "An orgy of pure distortion leaving nothing behind... but the clean campaign we all deserve.”

Here's the release from announcing the new ad.

    Dear Super Citizens,

It's Jon again. I want to let you know that I have not let this Super PAC thing go to my head, beyond the bejeweled crown I now wear on it. Besides, the work keeps me humble. There is a lot of receipt-sorting: Crown polish, taxi rides, first-class airfare, first-class taxi rides (where the driver lets you sit on his lap)...it goes on and on.

As the press release below explains, The Definitely Not Coordinating With Stephen Colbert Super PAC has been very busy, releasing another political ad today. I think it came off great, though a little hard to see through the glare off my crown.

    Sincerely,

    Jon Stewart

The Definitely Not Coordinating With Stephen Colbert Super PAC Releases Latest Ad To South Carolina & Clio Award Committee

NEW YORK CITY, SOUTH CAROLINA – The Definitely Not Coordinating With Stephen Colbert Super PAC has released another television ad in its unrelentingly legal commercial campaign leading up to the South Carolina Republican primary. The spot, entitled "Double Negative," addresses the increasingly nasty tone of the presidential campaign using audio, video, and for the first time in a political ad, scent.*

"People are tired of the relentless attack ads from Super PACs supporting Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney," said Jon Stewart, President For Life For Now of The Definitely Not Coordinating With Stephen Colbert Super PAC. "So we plan to run negative ads attacking their negative ads to make it right. That'll learn 'em."

The commercial begins airing tomorrow in the following South Carolina cities: Charleston. It can also be found on the internet by browsing YouTube alphabetically until you find it, or simply clicking here.

The Definitely Not Coordinating With Stephen Colbert Super PAC is an independent expenditure committee which rose, phoenix-like, from the ashes of Colbert Super PAC last Thursday in full accordance with federal election law.
