Barack Obama’s Least Favorite Chart

Gene Sperling, Obama’s Director of the National Economic Council, described the chart at a Democratic Governors Association event today. It shows the decline in state and local government jobs after the 2008-9 recession, and Sperling said Obama regrets not being able to get $30B from Congress to prevent teacher layoffs, and allowing public sector jobs to decline.
