Basically missing two of the breakouts from this year: Shailene Woodley and Miles Teller
This is honestly the BEST show on television right now. All these people who are eye-rolling at this promo have NEVER watched this show all the way through. I am so annoyed at everyone ignoring this show. Parenthood has tackled SO many issues including race, premarital sex, teenage pregnancy, single motherhood, cancer, divorce etc. So many of these issues they tackle are real issues that society nowadays fail to address, making this show completely relatable. And not only is this show so absolutely true and raw, the actors and writers deserve Emmy upon Emmy and because this show hasn’t ever gotten any recognition I’ve boycotted the Emmy’s this year. I’m sad to see this show go, because like Brothers & Sisters, there are just too many actors on this show for the network to pay. And these actors only cost so much because they are beyond FANTASTIC actors. These actors deserve WAY more recognition and it is an atrocity that the Emmy’s and the Golden Globes have failed to recognize the pure genius that goes into the show and the genius that shines on screen.
Parenthood has been snubbed since it premiered. It’s a great family drama, so raw and the actors are fantastic. They take on really issues, things that go on in a normal family, people can relate to the show. This show is the closet to reality as one can get, and the actors portray every emotion flawlessly. This show helps so many people, tackling issues like Asperger syndrome, cancer, single parenting, going to college, adoption, race issues, etc. The Emmy’s don’t really honor real shows, they only add to the flash and popularity of the “big shows”. Honestly, I can’t even take the Emmy’s seriously anymore.

Most honest view of a contemporary teenage relationship I’ve seen in a long time
This is what is wrong with society. I’m a nineteen year-old girl, currently in college, and I am constantly disgusted by how women my age dress. Actually, excuse me, those who dress like this and have this state of mind/thought process are not women, they are girls. To even agree with this “slut-shaming” or “rape culture” is ridiculous. I am so tired of seeing PSAs saying that it isn’t a girl’s fault for being raped when she was wearing revealing clothes. Women are constantly preaching to respect one’s body and than wearing revealing clothes is showing how you respect your body and showing confidence, but honestly the women preaching this should be ashamed, they are the ones perpetuating this “rape culture.” Respecting one’s own body is covering up when necessary, you should not be wearing shorts, so short that you have to pull them down to cover your butt or shorts that don’t even cover your ass cheeks, I don’t want to see your ass, not only is it distracting, it’s just disgusting and frankly, slutty. And no, I don’t want to see your boobs falling out of your shirt, or you bra showing through your shirt, or you midriff, it’s just not respectable or professional. Sure, you’re in high school or college, but dressing like this, in my book is in fact slutty. I personally think dressing this way is showing men how easy you are to get into bed, trust me, I indulge in this type of dress once in a while when I go out and party, but at the same time, I dress in jeans and t-shirts when it’s cold and I still get the same amount of male attention. But at the same time, when I dress like this, walking back either later that night or the next morning, I always feel ashamed of what I am wearing, to me it says that I have no respect for myself, however here’s the catch, I don’t dress like this to school/classes, places for learning. Women, you need to really learn to respect yourselves. Be classy ladies, cover up, be respectable. With that being said, yes, men, but really they should be called boys, should learn how to control themselves, they shouldn’t oversexualize women, but I don’t blame them. Our society these days, preaches the oversexualization of women daily. Models show off their bodies on billboards and on television and in films, because unfortunately that how companies make money. It is sad and sick and shameful that women in the 1920s fought for women’s rights and the right to just wear pants instead of long skirts for the culture we have today. It is sad to see how hard it is to find shorts of an appropriate length, designers need to stop creating shorter and shorter shorts. I remember at least four years ago, I could still find comfortable, appropriate length shorts, but now, I just wear my four year old shorts, only occasionally able to find acceptable length shorts. I think this society just needs a wake up call. We need to go back to a culture of respectability and class.
Finally bringing back some real Vets! I’m so sick of these new kids! Well, except for the new Las Vegas group, they’re pretty good
I love Duck Dynasty, it’s actually the only reality show I can bare to watch an entire episode, if not binge watch, in one sitting. Honestly, these moments are funny and obviously, when taken out of context, they seem “flamboyant” or “gay” but when you watch the show, its obvious that the things that are happening aren’t “gay.” These gifs are merely parts of a larger picture and as for Si, that’s just who he is, but that doesn’t mean he is gay or anything (not that that is a bad thing or anything). Si has two kids and a wife, he is just more free spirited and enjoys hanging out with his brother’s grandchildren. As for all the matching promotional photos, it’s not like they choose to where what they wear, the network chooses it. I personally think it was way out of line to suspend Phil for his comments, they are his personal beliefs, and when A+E decided to make a reality show out of their lives, they should have know what Phil’s personal beliefs are, he makes them very clear. I’m almost positive, Duck Dynasty is a show because they are different and appeal to such a different audience, compared to the other stuff A+E aires. In fact, Duck Dynasty is the most watched show on that network. Suspending Phil is probably just a way to show to the public that they don’t agree with Phil’s beliefs and to cover their asses so that GLAAD doesn’t target the entire company and just Phil. But just as Phil is entitled to his free speech, GLAAD is as well. The mistake here is just with A+E, for not standing behind their people because although they don’t agree with Phil’s beliefs, they should be running PR to make his comments less controversial by allowing Phil to apologize for wording his beliefs too harshly instead of adding to the flames with the suspension.
Woah. They finally believe it!
Brandi is actually an amazing artist! She’s half of Frank+Derol, which put out four of the most amazing tracks ever!
What? Ryan gets redeployed? Why would you do this to us? Ryber….
you don’t even need to go to a liberal arts college to feel like that, it starts to be like this in high school
It’s so obvious that the majority of the people in this country haven’t actually watched comprehensive coverage of the trial, and no ABC and CBS don’t count. You have to actually watch the entire trial to understand that justice was served and the UNANIMOUS verdict was not some sort of fraud or anything. Zimmerman did not deserve to go to jail for being attacked by Trayvon and acting in self defense. Yes, this was a tragedy, but it could have been avoided if Trayvon did not confront Zimmerman (which Trayvon’s friend testified to). This trial only became a racially charged trial because Trayvon’s mom, whom doesn’t even live with Trayvon, made it to be. The media only further fueled this trial because the race card was played, while omitting countless other murders from the news. Anyone hear about the 51 blacks murdered in Chicago on Forth of July due to gang violence? Are their lives worth any less than Trayvon’s?
Shailene was a beautiful actor in “The Spectacular Now!” I got the wonderful privilege to see her and Miles Teller in the film at the LA Film Festival and I recommend it to people who enjoy independent films. Honestly, the film was so perfect, as cliche as the topic is, it was written so wonderfully and the actors were great. The only thing is you don’t enjoy films like (500) Days of Summer or Silver Linings Playbook or Like Crazy, please don’t attempt to see it and say that it sucks because you shouldn’t have gone to see it in the first place.
it wouldn’t be this bad if they just addressed the situations as they happened
this all started on The Gates, the best tv show that should have never been cancelled.
Couldn’t have said it better myself!
Couldn’t have said it better myself. There is at least one Democrat contributor on each hour, if not more. I’ve only seen Republicans on CNN once in a while and SUPER rarely on ABC World News.
do you even watch Fox News?
Exactly! I was recently on the UC Santa Barbara Campus and they were playing both Fox and CNN at the same time and Fox was reporting on business news and college loans and debts, CNN was reporting on absolutely nothing. Like there was nothing important going on, on CNN, no news whatsoever.
there is so much more to this “clip.” SO sad how mainstream media tries to make Fox News look bad when clips of conservative are the same length, if not shorter than the one shown
What happened to OneRepublic????
Taylor all the way! Not even Michael J. Fox found it to be a joke.
vampire diaries, Elena and Damon. Come on. That was epic
