Hundreds of people joined Iraqi officials on Tuesday in reopening the Imams bridge, which links Sunni and Shiite neighborhoods in Baghdad. posted The bridge was closed 3 years ago after a rumor that a suicide bomber was about to attack started a stampede during a religious festival. Today the grand reopening was celebrated with the ritual slaughter of six sheep.
