14 Reasons Dolores Umbridge Is The Absolute Worst

1. When she attempted to sass off to Dumbledore during Harry's disciplinary hearing.

While arguing in Harry's defense during his disciplinary hearing at the Ministry of Magic headquarters, Dumbledore asserted that he did not believe the Dementor's had found Harry by coincidence. Umbridge goes on to say in such a flabbergasted manner that Dumbledore sounds like he is saying the Ministry ordered the attack against Harry. Mind you this nasty woman is the one who sent the Dementor's after Harry in the first place. *insert extreme side-eye here*

2. When she rudely interrupted Dumbledore's annual welcoming speech.

This little gremlin of a woman clearly has no respect for anyone, let alone her masterful elders, and this we simply cannot tolerate.

3. When she snapped at Harry during class because she simply could not handle the truth.

When Umbridge declares that she will not be having the students practice magic, Harry becomes quickly outraged. Harry begins to question her reasoning for only allowing a theoretical practice of magic, and that's when the short pink bubble bursts.

4. When she had students use the Black Quill.

After Umbridge and Harry's little tiff, she demands that he come to her office after class. When Harry arrives to her office she explains that he will be doing some lines for her. Umbridge then informs Harry he will be using her "special" quill. With her back turned to him as he begins to write, we see her begin to light up with anticipation and excitement.

When Harry is finished writing "I must not tell lies" she then manages to look at him in sort of a "I'm a complete lunatic, what's the problem here?" way. Dolores is just out of her damn mind.

5. When she made an attempt at displaying she was the HBIC of Hogwarts.

When Professor McGonagall calls her out for using such medieval methods on her students, Umbridge attempts to display to everyone watching that she is the one really running the show now.

6. When she pointed out that Snape failed to get the job as the Defense Against The Dark Arts teacher.

After happily embarrassing Snape in front of all his students, Umbridge exits the classroom with a gigantic smirk upon her face. So rude.

7. When she discourteously measured Professor Flitwick.

Ooh child this woman has some serious nerve! I would love to know why she felt the need to measure his height, and what she intended on doing with this information. Someone get this monster a hobby.

8. When she made a visit to Professor Trelawney's class and demanded an on the spot prediction.

While making her rounds, Umbridge enters Professor Trelawney's classroom and demands her to predict something...as if these sort of things are just pulled from thin air. THIS IS AN ART, WOMAN, patience is required! After Sybill delivers an on the spot prediction, Umbridge exits the room with a simple and snarky "Lovely."

9. And then when she tried to have her fired.

Thankfully as Professor McGonagall was comforting Sybill, Dumbledore came to the rescue and explained to Umbridge that she had no authority in banishing teachers from the school grounds.

As you can see, this was very hard on Umbridge... OH WAIT, NOT AT ALL.

10. When she disrespectfully went to Hagrid's home and rudely questioned where he had been all this time.

For someone who is clearly lacking in stature, you would think she wouldn't feel so comfortable mouthing off to someone towering over her in size. Leave it to Umbridge to thoughtlessly act a fool.

11. Because...EDUCATIONAL DECREES!

The mass joy we all felt when our two wonderful Weasley brothers let their Wildfire Whiz-bangs loose. We are eternally grateful for these fireworks knocking down and destroying all the hung up decrees.

12. The way she was always doing that little "hem hem" giggling thing.

Nothing like serving up some true bitchiness on a hot platter, followed by a cold dessert of "hem hem."

13. When she slapped Harry.

You know something truly terrible is happening when even Draco Malfoy begins to look concerned. His face went from "I'm loving this" to "Oh shit" real quick.

14. When she disgracefully called the centaurs "filthy half-breeds."

Once again I find myself asking where this woman gets her nerve. To stand in front of a herd of centaurs who are armed with arrows, anxiously waiting to shoot them at you and you choose to start name calling? The woman is clearly mad.

With all that said, I will leave you with some wise words from Harry, which accurately describe how we all feel about Dolores Umbridge.
