Japanese artist Takashi Murakami has unveiled designs for Kaiaki and Kiki, two balloon characters he plans to float at this year's installment of Macy's annually boring Thanksgiving Day Parade. For those unfamiliar, Murakami is the multimedia artist whose work has graced Louis Vuitton handbags, Kanye West album covers, and New York's Rockefeller Center. Said one organizer, “Fangs are very hot right now… this is an excellent year for Murakami.”
