I’m not a soldier neither a Marine but I did write a paper about “Military Service Branches”. I had to do my research and interviews to write this paper. “Marine” means something more than a Soldier. They are “WARRIORS” and more can be expected from this person. The goverment decided to create a small group of man that were willig to die for their country and I seriously mean DIE. They took ideas from other branches and builted the MARINES. To be the first ones to go into war for the most part and to find out how the situation was, instead of sending their Army Soldiers and having them die and making them a smaller group. I give my respect to All the men and woman serving in the military but I give more respect to the Marines becuase they are trained very different than any other branch. The government brain wash them to die and die proud and not to be afraid. Their ways of thinking is very different than a Soldier. It is very hard for the Army and Airforce to accept a Marine into their branch after they have served their time in the Marines because it is hard to change a Marine mind(thinking, ways). During an argument at a bar MSgt. Woyshner shouted, “Once a Marine, always a Marine!” and he was right. Not everyone can earned the title “MARINES”. They are hold to a higher standard than any other branch. Their training and mind thinking sticks with them for their rest of their life. THANKS TO ALL THAT HAVE SERVED OR ARE SERVING IN THE MILITARY.

duyp a year agoi personally think this argument is retarded… marines our not we all fight for the same country…i was born in Vietnam join the US army when i was 17 ..im a airborne/ air assault infantry with the US Army…. I dont mission with Marines and have fight side by side with them …Marines or Army, or any branches of service we all fight for the same thing…. Out of all the Marines i met…Only POG (personel other then Grunts) givE a Shi*t of what they call… If u in the front line and fight ..the only thing u’ll give a damn is bringing all the SOLDIER home alive…Marines or Not…In that coffin is still a soldier who gave his/her life for this country
