The Problem With Going Out In Boston Is...

Boston's great, but ah, you do notice a few things when you go out.

All and all, Boston's a great city to go out in. Great people, cool places, good drinks.

    Let's party.

But do note, everything closes at 2am. Last call's 1:30am, if you're lucky.

Which is not the end of the world, because after 2am things like this start to happen.

The problem is some places even close at 1am.

But there is hope. Mahty Walsh has proposed keeping bars open until 3:30am.

But for now -- they still close at 2am. Sorry bros.

Of course, even if Mahty does get the curfew moved back, it'll be tough to ever transcend Mayor Mumbles.

That said, whenever the Bruins/Sox/Pats/Celtics win anything, the bars tend to stay open ‘til whenever.

    It can get dangerous.

No literally, look out for flying beers.

But there's more to us than sports, take Allston for example - there's lots of interesting people. It's the state capital of ironic t-shirts and vintage sweaters.

Where people drink cocktails out of jam jars.

And that's just fine with them.

Shitty as it may be, if you went to a good house party in Allston freshman year, chances are you walked in like this:

Venture a bit further north to BC and you’ll probably meet some pretty sweet bros.

    Who crush beers + life.

Go out by BU and it's not a whole lot different...

If you're lucky enough to bump into this guy -- you went too far into Brookline.

Cambridge and all the bars should have "equations and stuff on the wall."

Boston's a college town. This is what we do.

Head back down to Southie and it should feel like good ol' Boston.

Tourists probably feel like they accidentally wandered onto the set of a new Mark Wahlberg movie.

Mess up the address to the bar you're going to in Southie and wind up at a place like this:

But you'll know when you get to the right one.

Hit a club by Chinatown and you'll probably see a little bit of everyone!

Buttt if you see this guy, you might have went to the wrong club...

    AND WANT TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY.

At which point you could head over to Faneuil Hall, where the guys all tend to wear one variation or the other of this:

And they're usually a little TOO ready to fight. For absolutely no reason.

And although "dancing" may not be their strong suit...

    They sure ah charmers!

    But hey,

    They're not all bad, right!?
