As clowns have taught us, there is a very fine line between mirthful and downright creepy. But when you look at some children's toys from the last few decades, you can't help but wonder how in the hell they designed these things without realizing how deeply, deeply unsettling they are. I have to say Big Loo is my favorite. Dart-shooting nipples?? I mean, come on!
A sea lion was picked up by police after it wandered onto a highway in Oakland, California. [Jack's Note: This was not actually an arrest - they were just concerned about her well-being. The baby sea lion, nicknamed Fruitvale (for some reason), was taken to the Marine Mammal Center across the bay in Sausalito for care, and will be released soon if all goes well!]
