Man Calls 911 To Complain About His Sandwich Order

This may be a new low in terms of abusing emergency services.

Here’s part of the 911 call:

Operator: 9-1-1, what’s your emergency?

Caller: I’m at Grateful Deli and I specifically asked for a little turkey and a little ham — and a lotta cheese and a lotta mayonnaise — and they’re giving me a hard time and I’m wondering if you can just stop by and just —

Operator: Who is this?

Caller: Rother McLennon. I was just wondering if you could just —

Operator: You’re calling 9-1-1 because you don’t like the way they’re making your sandwich?

Caller: Exactly.

Operator: Then don’t buy it!

Caller: Mmmkay.

Operator: Just walk away and don’t buy it if they don’t wanna make it the way you want it.

The woman who made the sandwich couldn’t believe the audacity of that guy, either.
