Luckily, as Lifehacker points out, it’s quite easy to turn off.
Step one: At the top right corner of your google search screen, click the “Settings” wheel and select “Search Settings.”
Step two: Scroll down to the “Personal Results” section and select “Do not use personal results.”
Step three: Take a big sigh of relief and resume googling as usual.
