Moesha. Cinderella. "The Boy Is Mine." Any way you put it, Brandy's career is iconic. She adds to all of that in her latest role as Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago. We caught up with her in our New York HQ to ask her a few questions — some important, some not so much.

The Theory Of Everything soundtrack. I love that music. It does something to me, darling.
2. What's your favorite color?
Brown.
3. Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Morning person.
4. Favorite pizza topping?
Cheese.

Oh, I liked Carson Daly a lot.

Broccoli.

I don't know what Nutella is, darling. Bacon. No, I don't like bacon either. Neither.

My favorite dance move is Fosse.

I don't have one. I don't watch TV right now. Roxie's got me too busy.

19. Biggest pet peeve?
When people are not nice. I don't like not-nice people, 'cause I'm nice. I like nice people.
20. Craziest fan story?
A couple nights ago a fan didn't go to the show, she just waited outside [the theater] for me to take a picture. I'm like, "Lady, you gotta buy a ticket to Chicago. This is what it's all about!" So she didn't buy a ticket, but she wanted to take a picture, so she took a picture and then called everybody: "Girl, you wouldn't believe who I just saw. Brandy!" She went crazy...and she didn't even see the show.

Cinderella.
22. Would you ever kiss a frog?
Absolutely.
23. How tall is your hair?
My hair? I don't know how tall my hair is right now.
24. Favorite alcoholic beverage?
I don't drink no more — but before it was merlot.
25. Do you own plants?
Yeah, I own a few plants! Orchids.
26. What color is your toothbrush?
My toothbrush is black with pink brushes on it.
27. Have you been in a spelling bee?
No. I don't really do the spelling bee thing. I'm a singer!

Wow, let me think about that. My favorite cartoon was Smurfette when I was a kid.
30. Do you chew on your pen?
Yes. I do chew on my pen. And I journal a lot, so I chew on my pen a lot.

Everything is in divine and perfect order.

36. What was the last dream you remember?
The other night I was dreaming that I was onstage as Roxie and the monologue was just so phenomenal and fantastic. I was trying different things in the dream and I actually did try it onstage and it worked. They loved it. That was two nights ago.
37. What time do you get up?
6 a.m. is my normal time.
38. What time do you go to bed?
I normally go to bed now, darling, around 12 o'clock. I leave the theater around 10:30, and after signing after all the autographs I go back to the hotel and go to sleep around 12.

41. Favorite reality show?
Mary Mary.
42. If you could bathe in any liquid besides water, what would it be?
I think I'll do coconut oil.
43. Can you do any good impressions?
I can. She's a legend. Her name is Jenifer Lewis; she played Tina Turner's mother in What's Love Got to Do With It? I can definitely do it. "You've been in my pearls, Alline!"

45. Is there anything else we should know?
That I'm having the time of my life here in New York City playing Roxie Hart in Chicago the musical. It's completely changed my life. It has completely made me the best version of myself: I'm focused, I'm disciplined, and I'm very grateful for this experience. If you haven't seen it, you need to come and see it. It will change your life for the moment — I don't know what you gonna do after you leave the theater, but when you're there you're gonna have a great time. I think you should come see it. It's fantastic.
