Adam Levine On Honey Boo Boo: “Literally The Worst Thing That’s Ever Happened”
Levine went on a long rant that finishes with “Just to clarify, **** those people.”
In the latest edition of GQ, we learned that the Maroon 5 singer REALLY hates Honey Boo Boo Child:
“Seriously, Honey Boo Boo is the DECAY of Western civilization. Just because so many people watch the show doesn’t mean it’s good. So many people witness atrocities and can’t take their eyes away from them, but that doesn’t mean they’re good. That show is literally The. Worst. Thing. That’s. Ever. Happened. It’s complete f#@*ing ignorance and the most despicable way to treat your kids. F#@* those people. You can put that in the magazine: F#@* those idiots. They’re just the worst. Sorry, I’m so sensitive to that—like, I don’t know, man, it’s upsetting. Just to clarify, I said, “F#@* THOSE PEOPLE.”

kristencaterpillar 5 months agoEither way both Levine and Honey Boo Boo’s family have made relatively smart career choices. He’s super wealthy for fronting a shitty band and somehow marketing it, and I’d imagine that the Boo Boo family is getting a piece of the pie as well due to their show and various television spots. So, really, the joke’s on me because I went to grad school instead and am poor.

jennyhoffmans 5 months agoYa know, he thinks he’s so high class. But there’s one thing that the Thompsons do right that Adam Levine is doing wrong. They have nothing terrible like that to say to anybody. Alana is cute as a button and hilarious! Not everything should be serious. That’s why we have so many more channels Mr Levine. Watch something else!

shelbyl3 5 months agoAt least Honey Boo Boo isn’t built up to be more than what it is. Adam Levine and the rest of the cast of The Voice/X Factor/American Idol are under the illusion that their shows will churn out future Grammy winners (Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood obviously being exceptions to the rule). Maroon 5 blows, he sucked on American Horror Story. Go back to doing what you’re good at: Being moderately good-looking in the way models are. You know, where they’re seen and not heard.

Taralabeu 5 months agoEven though his rant is seems auto-produced and all, it’s not really fair to use really horrible things as a counter argument to this. THIS, as in “trashy” reality shows that show scripted lives of people. Unless by reality, they mean this is the reality of what people want on their tv’s.

The irony of him of all people saying this is too delicious. I see he is continuing his effort to be the biggest unjustly inflated public ego of the year. Honey Boo Boo is a child that is a product of crazy ass environment; what’s his excuse?
