Adam Lambert Is Queen’s New Frontman
Freddie Mercury must be rolling in his grave right now. A former “American Idol” contestant is the new lead singer of his most epic band.
Lambert spoke to Rolling Stone about the announcement:
“The intention is to pay tribute to Freddie and the band by singing some fucking great songs,” he said. “It’s to keep the music alive for the fans and give it an energy that Freddie would’ve been proud of.”
…But does he really think he can replace the one and only Freddie Mercury?
“That’s impossible. The way I’m choosing to view it is that it’s a great honor and one I’m in no way going to shirk.”

Zachary H. a year agoFINALLY! Not that I was looking forward to him being the frontman for Queen but I honestly thought he was being wasted releasing the music that he was. Just wasn’t his style. He’s supposed to be flamboyant and over the top…which, in a word, is Queen. Glam Rock. A decent fit if you ask me. And if he’s bad, at least he can’t do anything to Freddy’s legacy.
