That dress one is the worst; not because wearing the same outfit is embarrassing, but because women with two different figures wearing the same outfit can highlight how differently people view women with different builds. The cute little sundress that looks effortlessly casual on a woman with a small bust makes a woman with a very large bust look like she’s trying to prove something. The same dress goes from cute to overtly sexual, and people do treat women differently based on their perceptions. That’s the uncomfortable part.

I’m not a fan of it either, but it’s hardly abusive. Lots of dogs go through extensive weekly grooming; this just adds some non-toxic vegetable dye to the process.

Without backward compatibility with PS3 games, it would be yet another bend-over-and-take-it strategy from Sony.  I heard something about cloud-only support for PS3 games. So no game data? Do we have to buy all those expensive games yet again just to play them on the new box?

They keep doing this to us. We buy and buy and buy and then they say, “Too bad, not compatible. No upgrade for you.”

#5 was and always will be my favorite of ever.

Yet another bummer about losing your hair and having to wear a wig; there’s not so much of the other people running their fingers through your hair. On the upside, taking the wig off feels AMAZING.

I came here to post exactly that.  I keep trying to get my marketing colleagues to watch that movie. These days, that kind of honesty could actually be effective, especially in social. Well, except for that Sony slogan.

I’m so sad for him. He would have been so much more dapper with his natural ears. And he wouldn’t have had to endure the pain of recovery from unnecessary surgery.

#1 That’s funny, before Thewlis got the role, I’d expected Roth to be cast as Remus Lupin. I probably just had Roth/Oldman movie pairing on the brain. Thewlis was terrific, but I think Roth would have been even better. Rickman was WAY too sexy to be Snape. He was wonderful, of course, but way too sexy. My second choice, Adrien Brody, would have been more hawkish, but those softsoft puppy eyes would have made him too sexy too.

Actually, #5 is a thing. It’s an app called Voxer. It works like a walkie talkie with caching. It uses your data plan and sends short voice messages. It’s free and crazy convenient for folks with family outside of the country. [/themoreyouknow]

I wonder if the ripeness of the berries has something to do with it. Jello doesn’t really firm up in the presence of too much acid. Maybe the berries need to be very ripe for it to set. I’d also recommend using even less water. I’ve had a lot of success just heating the booze and using that to dissolve the gelatin. It firms up really well and has the advantage of being super-boozy.

Trader Joe’s sells #8, and they’re uncanny. Freakish. They’re a pretzel and they’re a croissant. It shouldn’t work, but it does.
