Reasons Why We Are Waiting For #GoTSeason4

'Game of Thrones' is the greatest TV series ever. And thus it's every season brings out certain anticipation, certain expectation and certain something. Here's to that!

Game of Thrones Season 4 Preview

'Game of Thrones'…This is one series that has constantly been breaking our hearts since its inception. And the ironical thing is the more it breaks our heart, the more we find ourselves hung to it. Well, that's the charm of a fantasy series like GoT. And maybe that's the reason how we survived through the death of Ned Stark or betrayal of Theon Greyjoy or the ultimate heart-breaking saga of 'Red Wedding'.

George R.R. Martin is now famous for such infamous travesty. And guess what? We've happily accepted him for that.

Though speaking of this travesty, I'm sure many of us can't really wait for what more lies ahead in the next season (Season 4). Going by the #GoTForeshadowing, I'm sure we can easily count many such #OMGoT moments in this one too.

And as one of the million fans, here's my list:

a. Valar Morghulis

This phrase came into existence at the end of Season 2 and it means ‘All men must die’. What’s interesting is the fact that this is the tagline of season 4. And what’s more interesting is how it’s actually significant. You never know what Mr. Martin has in store for us. But by the look of it, the new season threatens that ‘all men must die’. But you know the thing that we’ve been saying to Death- ‘Not today!’

b. The rage of dragons

Whenever one talks about Game of Thrones, the only thing that never escapes our minds is the dragons. They are exclusive, powerful and made…only for ‘Game of Thrones’. And the best part this season is the rage of the dragons. It will indeed be awesome to see them finally coming into their forms. And by form I mean they are just getting bigger and bigger.

c. The influence of Khaleesi

To be a queen is good, but to be a Khaleesi… its way better. That’s the one thing that we all have learnt from the previous seasons. And I just hope the stature goes further up in the coming season too. But who knows? Looking at the uncanny situations and the uncontrollable rage of dragons, it will be interesting to see how the Khaleesi will maintain her stature. And what scares us more is this line by Ser Jorah- ‘your dragons, Khaleesi, they can never be tamed. Not even by their mother.’

d. The miserable Tyrion

Our favorite character, Tyrion Lannister, doesn't seem to be enjoying in the trailer of season 4. That’s a ‘Holy Shit!’ moment for us all. Having said that…famous for quirky dialogues and his amazing repertoire, the dwarf has always come out of miserable situations. Well, not this time it seems. Trapped in a dungeon, he seems anything but fine.

e. Purple Wedding

We've already witnessed a wedding in ‘Game of Thrones’ and we know how gory it turned out. But still we can’t wait for another one. Well, this time it’s the ‘Purple Wedding’. And the interesting thing to note is how the wedding between the cruel King Joffrey and Margaery Tyrell will affect the kingdoms.

f. The new characters in the new season: House Martell

Does this ring a bell? No? Well, soon you're going to meet Prince Oberyn Martell. He's going to attend the Purple Wedding. But that's not his only motive to show up in season 4. There's something else on his mind. And a hallelujah moment for us Indians…Indira Varma is going to play his love interest. Woot woot!

g. Last but not least, we can't wait to hear HODOR!
