My first year in Korea, my boss took me out to lunch. Everything was awesome (as it can be with Korean food), except for this one dish (as it can be with Korean food). It was pink and spongy/crunchy with a very distinct (vom) flavor. I asked her what it was, but she didn’t know the English word so I looked it up when I got back to school. It was a fish ovary. Not caviar. Ovary. Never ate unidentified stuff again.
