Thom Yorke has released a dreamy new mix full of unreleased and remixed versions of songs by his new band Atoms for Peace as well as material by Radiohead. He made the mix with Nigel Godrich, a member of Atoms for Peace and the producer of every Radiohead record going back to OK Computer.
The mix is glitchy and densely layered, but also quite beautiful. It’s also danceable, and perfect for getting down in the following fashion:
- Justice Antonin Scalia, the conservative heart of the U.S. Supreme Court for more than a decade, has died. He was 79.
- Scalia was the current court's longest-serving justice, having been nominated in 1986 by President Ronald Reagan.
- Republicans are extremely unlikely to confirm anyone that President Obama nominates in the final months of his second term.
