Quixotic 2 months agoAlso, I always hear advice that if you’re looking for an artist, asking someone who has a tattoo in a style you like can be a good way of getting a referral. I wouldn’t bug a random stranger, but I might politely ask someone I know if they got their tattoo done locally.

CloseCalling 2 months agoI keep a couple card for my artist. The more people who know about him the happier he will be.

Emmy Favilla 2 months agoOh, yes, I am always happy to drop my artist’s name and shop — and always do! It’s just the “do you have their number/card?” that gets me.

James McFly 2 months agoThat’s exact what I was thinking. Obviously they’re complimenting your artist so why not plug them or at least drop their parlors name.
