Not to apply analytical skills to the issue or anything, but Beck is specifically complaining that the networks are actively pushing an issue that the president just “happens” to be interested in - not that volunteering is a bad thing to do. I'm sure that many people screeching here would be completely beyond outraged if the networks had “conveniently” devoted an entire week's worth of programming to an issue that Former Pres Bush just “happened” to want to push at some point. The issue that Beck is making as about INDOCTRINATION. Just because something is a good idea, doesn't mean that it is a good idea for the GOVERNMENT to be telling us to do, by influencing what goes into TV shows.
