The Svalbard Global Seed Vault is a secure seed bank on the Norwegian island of Spitsbergen in the remote Arctic Svalbard archipelago, about 810 miles from the North Pole. The vault was carved into the Arctic permafrost and filled with samples of the world’s most important seeds was inaugurated, providing a Noah’s Ark of food crops in the event of a global catastrophe

Roeland Park Kansas police department officer Zach Stamper was called out for a suspicious person sleeping during the middle of the day in a small park. Samuel Meixueiro explained he has a long walk daily, so officer Stamper gave him a ride to work, a half-hour later Stamper went back to his job with a bike for Samuel and a duffel bag for him to carry all of his things in.
