I don't know which is worse. The concept or the photographic quality. I'm leaning towards both.

Most of these are really redundant and think they say more than they do. I love the idea, but the execution falls short and I'm not at all impressed just because it all seems too easy and boring to be truly jarring.
There are so many ways to put a shocking edge on Disney princesses, so this just looks lazy -_-

I only got the rape vibe from Sleeping beauty. I thought Cinderella broke her neck running in heels, Ariel couldn't breathe above water, and Snow White was poisoned. Maybe Jasmine died in a smoke blast when the genie came out of the lamp?

Yeah, I have to agree with everyone that says it looks like they were raped. If you follow the link to the artist's website, there are a couple additional photos that look even more rape-y than the ones here.
