it's a fake, either as a demo created to shop the song around to potential singers or someone with too much time wanting to make Britney look bad. She does such a good job of that herself.

It's Britney..Gaga wrote it for her and Brit didn't use it. Anyone with musical ears can hear it's Britney's voice. Any absolute idiot can dismiss that fact, if they want to.  Side note: Britney isn't a great singer and I'm not condoning the listening of her songs or songs written for her. Just sayin…

From what I've read previously on various Gaga-related articles, Britney's people downright refused the song, which would seem to imply she never even bothered to record a demo. At any rate, alter anyone's voice enough and even the worst singer can be made to sound like Britney Spears, even William Hung. Plus, a lot of the musical elements (harp, stuttering at parts, and especially the “not in service” epilogue) just make this scream fake.  /unneeded rant
