Google Chrome OS
Google continues its world takeover bid with an announcement last night that it is launching its own Operating System. Google Chrome OS will be open source, lightweight, and targeted primarily towards netbooks. What's exciting and different about it is that it will be focused entirely on the web - i.e., the user interface is in your browser. This should be terrifying news for Microsoft.
