  • @Matthew — totally. This is some serious jackassery. Kudos to the guy who now has these guys. He's removing the stupid fucking handles, but I wish he'd report their former owner to the police. Earlier today I saw a video with assholes shooting birdshot at a frightened Box Turtle. And I didn't click on one that claimed a pet turtle was going to be fried. Don't even get me started on how many videos there are on Youtube of Snappers being decapitated. I always try to do something about these videos and nothing EVER happens. But the internet seems to get most riled up when puppies and kittens are at stake. I'd like for people to care a bit more about the turtles. And I'd like for people to care about turtles other than sea turtles.  Short version: browsing Youtube is making me a bitter old lady.
