Please Help Name This Itty Bitty Turtle
On July 4, Pacific Northwest Turtleworks hatched their smallest ever turtle: a mini musk weighing in at 1.22 grams. But now she needs a name. Can you help?
1. Here she is!
To put things in perspective, the average paper clip weighs about 1.4 grams. This turtle is .18 grams lighter and is smaller than a beer bottle cap. Her mom is only three inches long and dad is even smaller: two inches! Suggested names so far include “Indy” and “Speck,” but you can post your own ideas here.

@Kimberly in the FB comments: Incubation temperatures affect the sex of the turtle. Pacific Northwest Turtleworks probably intended for her to be a girl, which is why (I’m guessing) they refer to her as she. Normally, you can’t visually determine whether a turtle is male or female until they’re older.
