Constructive criticism isn't praise. It's criticism that's relevant, reasonable, and isn't ad hominem. I have no problems whatsoever with you expressing that you dislike a post for A, B, and C reason. I do have problems with the people who were making comments about the Buzzfeed editors being ugly and posting inappropriate pictures. I don't care if this is the internet. The forum for the intellectual exchange doesn't make an immature point more valid by virtue of being electronic or whatever the hell it is that people believe to be unique about the internet. People just need to stop being assholes. I'll keep reminding them until they do.

  • I agree that people are assholes. But here's the thing - this post appears to be eliciting a lot of ire.  This isn't a contribution from an outside source…this is one of Buzzfeed's own, and it is a compilation of pictures, without consent of the subjects, intended to show people she believes to be ugly. Amanda is being an asshole by your very definition of 'asshole.'  Someone who posted her picture earlier, without her consent, calling her ugly, was removed due to bad taste. Which I also agree with, but by that logic, Amanda's entire contribution should be removed.
