The Dalai Lama actually makes a good amount of money considering how many donations he's received, lectures he's booked for, books he's written, etc. He probably still makes less than the Situation, but he definitely has more money than the average joe. But even if he didn't have a salary, he still has a free house, free food 24/7, private jets to wherever he goes, and not to mention at least 7 million followers.
