4. Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham joining Fleetwood Mac

After Bob Welch split from Fleetwood Mac in 1974, founding member Mick Fleetwood started searching for a replacement. While in California's Sound City Studios, he was played a track by a sound engineer that he was currently mixing. The track happened to belong to Buckingham and Nicks. Fleetwood asked to meet Lindsey Buckingham, who coincidentally was at the studio that day recording demos. Fleetwood asked Buckingham to join Fleetwood Mac and he agreed on the condition that he his musical partner (Nicks) could join as well.
