Yeah… I think they were making Canada jokes due to the hockey pads. They were expressing the American idea of what a Canadian accent sounds like. There are towns called Inwood all across North America, 2 in Canada (Manitoba and Ontario), and 9 in the USA (New York, Florida, Iowa, West Virginia, Indiana, Maryland, Washington, California, and Mississippi). Canada does not have interstates, and even then, Interstates are only 3 digits long in the USA. From what I can glean off of Google, there are several “Highway 1157”s in the USA, but none match well to any of the Inwood towns.

Everybody between Toronto and Vancouver are just basically Northern Americans. Sure, they have real health care, but other than that they're just like the rest of us 'mercans.

I suppose they're constantly in search of more things to do wearing hockey gear up there…
