Response to Can You Pass A Basic Spelling Test?:
I spell it “jewellry” (despite being American), but it wouldn’t take it so I typed “jewelry” and it took. I don’t think that was fair, actually. I think the word makes more sense with two L’s. Also, despite being American, I spell those words with a “u” (colour, humour, rumour, favourite, et cetera). So sue me.
I’m calling the match for Griffin. Of course I’m biased, I watched him play for OU (and have watched him in the NBA despite his being a Clipper). True fact: He’s the *only* OU Sooner alumnus on an active NBA roster.
He was also in a short-lived series called Party Animals, which is on Hulu. He portrayed a young Labour Party researcher (the show is about young political workers).
