Hello Everyone! My name is Tim Gulley, and like most people, I find it a bit challenging to decide just what to put in this box. How does one fit an entire life's summary into a neat little box anyway? Well, the person I strive to be is adventurous, bold, intelligent, philosophical, outgoing, friendly, kind, loyal, passionate, open minded...and probably many other things that aren't coming to mind at the moment. I've discovered I have a passion for flying and the skies in general, as well as world travel. I've definitely been bitten by the travel bug, and to date, I've been to 8 foreign countries and crossed both the Atlantic and the Pacific in the process. Anyway, on the topic of the skies, I've also gone skydiving a time or two (or 13). I'm definitely a thrill-seeker when I'm afforded the opportunity. (That is to say when I'm not huddled over a textbook.) And I definitely live by the motto of work hard, play hard. I enjoy flirting with danger, and I've learned danger and excitement come hand-in-hand. In fact, I think some people fear death way too much. It happens to the best of us eventually! I just want to get the most I can out of life before it happens. Anyway, I also have a bit of an activist spirit in me (damn the man). The Bush administration pissed me off to no end; I think everyone should vote, no excuses; and I constantly feel the urge to stand up for what's right in the world and call the BS when I see it. Let's face it, for better or worse, there's a lot of it out there - greed, corruption, ignorance, bigotry...take your pick. And sometimes, some one just needs to stand up, raise their voice, and say "THAT'S NOT RIGHT!" ...but I digress. I consider myself to be a pretty friendly person; I strive to be an open book; and as cliche as it may sound, you can never truly have too many friends. So hit me up if you'd like to chat. As you can probably tell by now, I generally have no problem making conversation :-)
