Riot At SXSW Death From Above 1979 Show

When Death From Above 1979 appeared for their first show in five years, things got out of hand. The band was set to appear at The Beauty Bar at SXSW, but after the venue's capacity filled out, there were still people fighting to get in. Police were called to settle things down. I love DFA too, but you don't throw shit at horses in a packed crowd, people.

  • I saw them open for NIN about 6 years ago. Decent…but “riot” worthy? Come on now, people… Solution: Don't play in a tent designed for tailgating and you might fit the crowd that wants to see you.
