It’s Not A Tumor, Just Brain Worms.

After doing an MRI on a woman who was thought to have a possible brain tumor, doctors found “something down in her brain stem which is as deep in the brain as you can be.” They said it got there from eating under-cooked pork or not washing hands. This is so worse than eye worms, HOW DID IT GET THERE?!

      I’ve taken care of several patients with these worms. They’ve all been ok after surgery and antibiotics (and a month in the hospital). Also, this isn’t new. Grey’s Anatomy did this a year or so ago.

      Hey BuzzFeed, my husband has read one too many microbiology textbooks and taken one too many classes about this. I have been sentenced to eating dry, leathery, overcooked food for 10 YEARS. Don’t post this shit! I mean, I’m more likely to find a winning lottery ticket on the sidewalk than to contract brain worms, right? Now I have to talk hubby down.. otherwise I’ll only be allowed to eat charcoal.

      Pork tapeworms!, unlike beef tapeworms they don’t stay in your intestines, they just eat out all of your insides. It’s best to stick to beef tapeworms.
