Living Deep Fried Fish

Thomas C. 3 years agoThe reason most humans think this video is disturbing is because we have empathy and we assign feelings and emotions to things (even inanimate objects, such as teddy bears). In reality, billions of animals eat each other in the ocean all the time. Do you really think sharks bother to peacefully put their prey to sleep before they eat it? No. Many animals actually watch themselves get eaten alive by their predators. It’s nature, and yes, it happens every day.

John Winskowicz 3 years agoI couldn’t agree more that it’s nature. However, at some point, you have to ask whether or not you’re doing something because it’s natural, or because you can. I think consuming fish is natural, but this is being done just because someone has the ability. Totally different, in my opinion.

ELROD 3 years agoI’m gonna have to go against your fans here and agree with you. It’s a fucking fish. it may not be our cup of tea, but for the chinese that’s their way of doing it. So what? Have you ever seen a lobster get cooked? Last time I checked, they steam them a live! And what about clams or oysters?! Oh, let me guess, “that’s different”! If you’re a carnivore, you eat animals. Don’t try and sugar coat it, especially when it’s just a nasty half-fried fish.

paullynomial 3 years agook any idiot knows that already. but do you have to add insult to injury by cruelly treating an animal before eating it?

ghost snake 3 years agoso then, what do you suppose it is that separates humans from animals? (spoiler alert: it’s rhetorical.)
