Obama get's to talk about his race because he is a minority. That is the way it works. I am fine with that. He is also the first non-white president, so maybe we aren't used to our president talking about race. If he were Asian, he would probably talk about issues that have to do with being Korean, or Chinese, or Japanese etc-American.
