Twilight should not be on this list. Especially NOT ahead of the Hobbit.

Why? This isn't even funny.
Devil worship is cool? I'd rather be lame.
Until they can explain THIS…I don't care what they think: http://www.priestsforlife.org/testimony/levatinolong.htm
Pretty poignant statement. I don't know what everyone is in a fuss about.
He could have just stuck with the last two sentences and sounded a lot better. I would not use a golf metaphor to try and make a natural law argument…just tell it straight up.
Am I the only one who is white and not mad simply because I don't mind being made fun of, and it's actually kind of refreshing? Pluralistic society win.
Hate him, love him, whatever, when a man's right, a man's right.
Oh, I see. You think I copied off you. Well, I didn't. It just so happens that I thought of it myself because it's not that hard of an idea to think of when I already had that image saved on my computer long ago.
You're entitled to your opinion, but other people are not going to see it that way, especially the veterans who taught ME in the Boy Scouts to treat the flag with respect to honor their dead comrades. Of course you can burn the flag, wear it, whatever you like, and no one has the right to stop you. The way you talk about symbols makes me think you don't really understand what a symbol is. A symbol is something that represents something else. If you burn the flag in disrespect, which I was taught represented soldiers, it sends a clear message. That's how symbols work. It's just a fact. I'm not sure if you were trying to suggest that by respecting the flag I would not be willing to “respect them, supporting greater benefits for them, and not sending them on fruitless military adventures.” If not, sorry, but if so, with all my heart I disagree. My respect for the flag has no bearing on my opinion of other ways to honor soldiers. If I might say so I admire your efforts, assuming you are actually active in reaching out to veterans, starting initiatives for veterans benefits, and voting against politicians that support war. If not, you're just all talk. I was also in no way insistent on your ignorance. I merely said it was ignorant to make a blanket statement about a large diverse group of people. I could say it's ignorant to claim all Irish people love beer and I'd probably be right. If you think calling someone ignorant in this case is trying to make some kind of show of “toughness” as you call it, you are really just name-calling, in my opinion. Anyway, I think this whole “tough” business makes this argument pretty silly. It's like flexing your muscles to try and win an intellectual argument. So I'm not sure how “tough” you are is really relevant to whether or not a flag should or should not be treated with reverence.
