Zooey Deschanel would make an excellent Twilight Sparkle because of her infectious charisma and endearing quirkiness. Zooey is intelligent and knows how to work hard as she is an actor, singer and also helps run a popular website called HelloGiggles.com! As a great multi-tasker with a bubbly personality, we give her two hooves up as Twilight Sparkle.

2. Applejack: Kelly Clarkson

Applejack’s a down-to-earth, resourceful and dependable pony! She’s got a heart the size of Canterlot and tons of southern charm!

Kelly Clarkson would be a great Applejack because she came from a humble beginning before becoming an American Idol star. She hasn’t let the fame get to her either! She’s extremely grounded, but still quite the outspoken country girl!

3. Rarity: Rachel Zoe

Rarity is quite possibly the most beautiful unicorn you have ever seen! No hair is ever out of place in her mane, and she has the poshest fashion sense!

Rachel Zoe would play a fabulous Rarity because of her extensive experience as a fashion stylist. She has styled celebrities such as Anne Hathaway, Liv Tyler, and Keira Knightley, so styling all the ponies in Equestria is right in her wheelhouse.

4. Rainbow Dash: Serena Williams

The adventurous Rainbow Dash is brave, bold, and probably the fastest, most athletic pegasus pony alive! She’s also very proud, mischievous, and loves to play pranks!

Like Rainbow Dash, spectators all over the world (and Equestria) have been amazed by Serena Williams’ speed, agility and confidence. Though Serena and Rainbow Dash may be competitive on the court and in the air, these two are always the first to lend a helping hand (or hoof) to those in need.

5. Pinkie Pie: Katy Perry

Pinkie Pie is the cute, giggly, social butterfly of the group. She marches to the beat of her own drum and absolutely loves to party and sing!

Spike is Twilight Sparkle’s mischievous dragon friend. He’s a little insecure, but absolutely lovable! Oh, and by the way, he also has a big crush on Rarity.
